Student Discipline

The staff at THS is here to help all students get the finest education possible, not to impose rules or discipline.  However, every high school has rules and the means to enforce those rules to prevent disorder and chaos.

When problems occur, every reasonable effort is made to rectify them to the mutual satisfaction of all concerned.  Persons who behave irresponsibly must expect to be held accountable for their behavior.  Persons who repeatedly or seriously violate the rights of others will not be allowed to remain at THS.

Most discipline infractions result in a verbal warning from the teacher or a campus supervisor.  In other cases, however, the student may be instructed to report to the Dean’s Office.  Failure to do so is a violation of school rules and will result in suspension for blatant defiance.

The Dean of Student Discipline is available by appointment at (209) 667-2055.

Dean of Student Discipline: Gabe Ontiveros
