Knights of Columbus Scholarship

Knights of Columbus Scholarship Council #2557 application form is available from Mrs. Newell in the Counseling Office. Deadline to apply is March 10, 2014.

Central Valley Motherlode Plumbers, Piper & Refrigeration Fitters

The joint Apprenticeship Committee of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Tuolumne, Mariposa, Amador, Calaveras and Alpine Counties will be accepting applications for entrance into the Apprentice Training Program. On April 19, 2014, applications will be taken between 8am and 9am at 4842 Nutcracker Lane, Modesto, California. The written exam will be given the same day starting at 10am. Stanislaus Community Foundation Scholarship

The Stanislaus Community Foundation Scholarship program offers financial assistance to Stanislaus Country residents pursuing studies at an accredited college, university or vocational college through 55 separate scholarships.The 2014 scholarship period begins on Monday, February 3rd and closes on Friday, March 28, 2014.

Interested students can apply online by visiting www.StanislausCF.org Only one online application form is necessary to apply for scholarships. Be sure to check the eligibility criteria for each award.

National Scholarships

National scholarships are announced in the Daily Bulletin and posted on the school website on a weekly basis.  Hard copies of paper applications are placed in a file box in the Counseling Office outside Mrs. Peterson’s office. There are also many scholarship search engines available online and most colleges and universities have separate scholarship applications.  Beware of scholarship scams!  See your counselor if you have any questions about a questionable scholarship opportunity.

Local Scholarships

Thousands of dollars from local clubs, community organizations, and private donors are given each year to THS seniors.  Interested students need to complete an online scholarship application in January (information is mailed home).  Scholarship recipients and their parents/guests are honored at Senior Awards Night in May at the Assyrian-American Civic Club that includes a hosted dinner.  Many eligible students neglect to apply every year!  Are you interested in being a scholarship sponsor?  Contact Jeanine Newell at (209) 667-0791 in the Counseling Office for more information.
