The Knights of Columbus, Father Heslin Council #2557 of Turlock is awarding scholarships to the senior students who attend their local high schools. Scholarships will be awarded to the sons, daughters and grandchildren of active Father Heslin Council #2557 Knights of Columbus members only.


Applications may be picked up from Kristin Bettencourt in the Bookroom.


Deadline to apply is Monday, March 7, 2016.


Each year, the proceeds from the Rotary North/South All-Star Classic Football game are used to provide $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors from their participating high schools. In 2014, 26 scholarships were given out at $1000/each!


The link to apply is below. The scholarship application form must be completed on a computer and then mailed with the other required documents to the indicated address. You may use either the MS Word or the PDF format--they are identical. The scholarship committee recommends that applicants save a copy of their completed form on their computer.


Deadline to apply is April 10, 2016


ALL high school students in Stanislaus County can compete for this scholarship. The candidate should have a 3.5 or higher GPA and the student must be planning to attend a college or university. The scholarship award is $500.

National Scholarships

National scholarships are announced in the Daily Bulletin and posted on the school website on a weekly basis.  There are also many scholarship search engines available online and most colleges and universities have separate scholarship applications.  Beware of scholarship scams!  See your counselor if you have any questions about a questionable scholarship opportunity.

Local Scholarships

Thousands of dollars from local clubs, community organizations, and private donors are given each year to THS seniors.  Interested students need to complete an online scholarship application in January (information is mailed home).  Scholarship recipients and their parents/guests are honored at Senior Awards Night in May in the Bulldog Arena.  Many eligible students neglect to apply every year!  Are you interested in being a scholarship sponsor?  Contact Kristin Bettencourt at (209) 667-0888 for more information.
