Strong and enduring...Turlock High School has maintained these characteristics for over a century.  For all of us who have the honor of celebrating this milestone, we have been reminded or educated on how Turlock High School came to be.  Although the faces have changed many times over among students and staff, the one constant factor has been the elements of tradition, blue and gold spirit, and a commitment to represent our community proudly.

With a larger campus...more staff...and an increased number of students, THS has become an educational icon in the Central Valley.   But even amongst our vast growth, THS's mindset and values have remained true to continued integrity, academic achievement, and extra-curricular participation and successes.  Tradition is created; not inherited.  One hundred years ago, a dedicated group of educators, inspired students, and community members created a foundation...one strong enough to endure a century-worth of change-new ideas, altered demographics, state-mandates, and phenomenal growth on campus.  Many staff members have built upon this foundation and have improved what THS offers its students; similarly, THS students have continued to "rise to the occasion" over the past 100+ years, striving to remain on top academically, athletically, and socially in campus activities, clubs, and community events.

Tradition is an amazing facet of education...particularly on a campus as seasoned and cultured as THS.  Turlock High School is virtually on the "tipping point" in many areas...and as a result, many new traditions have recently been established and will continue to develop as we work with wise and thoughtful staff members and responsible and creative students.  THS is a remarkable place to spend four years learning...and a great place to make a difference for students.  Our motto continues to be "choice, not chance" as we intentionally prepare every student to have an array of viable options at the conclusion of their THS educational experience.

Strong and enduring, Bulldogs!
