THS provides many opportunities for parents to get involved with “life” at Turlock High School over the course of their students’ 4-year educational experience. The following programs and activities are in place at Turlock High School to promote and support parental involvement:
School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC), District GATE Committee, Superintendent's Advisory Committee, Sober Grad Nite Committee, Freshman Orientation, Back-to-School Night, Annual Parents' College Information Night, Fall AP Instructors Evening Seminar, Sophomore Counseling, AVID Programs, CCC/CIF Athletic Information Night (held during Back-to-School Night), Varied Athletic Team Parent Meetings, WASC Process, Student Academic Achievement Plan (SAAP), NJROTC, and various fundraising opportunities. Parents are always welcome to visit the THS campus; however, like all visitors, parents are required to check in at the receptionist's desk located in the administration building.
